Available Volunteer Options

Group Volunteer

An organization or company interested in partnering with The Arc of Palm Beach County for their Community Outreach.

Residential Home Deep Clean

Volunteer groups are welcome to assist in maintaining the beauty and cleanliness of one of The Arc Family Group Homes. Interior deep cleaning and exterior landscaping greatly benefit the residents who call it home.

Gardening

A group of volunteers are welcome to help spruce up our Therapeutic Gardens that are used for outdoor stimulation and lessons.

Bodwell Academy

Volunteers with an up-to-date Level 2 background clearance may volunteer with students at Bodwell Academy. Activities can include reading to students, singing, playing and sharing music and more.

The Artisan Program

Volunteers work side by side with Artisans on variety of art projects. The Artisan program enables clients to utilize their creative talents to produce unique hand crafted mosaics and other art pieces. Artisans are able to sharpen their fine motor skills, understand color and balance, and improve communication and social skills. Artisans sell their creations throughout Palm Beach County in shops and art shows such as ArtiGras and Turtle Fest. As a result of these endeavors, the artists earn extra income.
